A write up on the The Interspiritual Circle training from Contemplative Journal News:
As a part of the upcoming Conference on Gross National Happiness (GNH) in Burlington, Vermont
May 29 – June 1, 2014, a two-day weekend workshop will bring together 8 spiritual leaders from across the nation in the “Interspiritual Circle: Best Practices that Cultivate Happiness and Well-Being.” Participants will engage with eight spiritual traditions and learn ways to develop and deepen their own spiritual practices and disciplines that cultivate happiness and well-being.
Dr. Kurt Johnson, workshop leader on Interspirituality and co-author of The Coming Spiritual Age, describes the two-day gathering in this way: “Happiness and well-being are synonymous, and, for a global world to be healthy and happy, we’ll not only need worldviews embracing interconnectedness, cooperation and synergy, but also happy individuals. There is no surer way toward happiness and wellbeing than a rich spiritual practice and understanding.”
Please consider attending this gathering as well as participating in the entire Gross National Happiness Conference over the entire four days. The Gross National Happiness model presents a comprehensive and holistic approach to individual, community, and cultural development that places happiness and wellbeing at the core of individual and social transformation.
